Fast delivery on all items to mainland UK addresses. (Please note we do not ship to PO boxes and BFPO addresses). Our usual delivery time shall be 2-3 working days from receipt of payment, but most of the time it will be quicker unless a specific delivery time is stated within the item description. Northern Ireland and UK offshore islands may incur a postage surcharge (please ask before purchasing). For all non UK deliveries, please contact us for a detailed delivery quote before puchasing. Overseas Deliveries: You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Barton Gems, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Also, we may provide certain order, shipment and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.

General Terms and Conditions of Sale
The following conditions apply to and are deemed to be incorporated in all contracts for sale and supply of the company's services and materials. By purchasing an item from Barton Gems you are agreeing to abide by the following Terms and Conditions.
Ordering from us
The placing of an order expresses acceptance of our terms and conditions of business. These terms and conditions do not affect the customer's statutory rights. The company reserves the right to alter prices and / or specifications at any time and without prior notice. Barton Gems reserves the right to cancel and order if it is found the item/s were incorrectly priced / described.
No goods shall pass from the company to the customer unless and until the customer has made full and complete payment to the company.
Our usual delivery shall be 2-3 working days from receipt of payment but most of the time it will be quicker unless a specific delivery time is stated within the item description. You will be kept informed of the progress of your order. Once the item has left us we are in the hands of the carrier and rely on them to attain the target delivery time. We do supply contact details for the carrier upon the order being dispatched and please contact our office if you need us to chase a delivery.
IMPORTANT - IF THE ITEM IS DELIVERED DAMAGED YOU MUST SIGN FOR IT AS DAMAGED AND NOTIFY US WITHIN 24 HOURS OR WE CAN NOT MAKE A CLAIM FOR MISSING/DAMAGED GOODS AND CAN NOT REPLACE THEM FREE OF CHARGE.
Barton Gems guarantees that should our products not be to the standard, or in any significant way different from that advertised, we will refund any monies paid by the customer upon return of the item/s, but shall only apply to the item/s in question. Complaints or non-receipt of goods must be reported to the company in writing within 10 working days of order date. Barton Gems will not be held responsible for any costs incurred due to a faulty product by the customer unless they have been agreed, with prior arrangement by Barton Gems. This clause does not affect your statutory rights. The company does not accept responsibility for damage to any equipment in which our products are used for the purpose other than those for which it was designed.
Barton Gems is pleased to offer an, exchange, replacement or refund on any faulty* item, accompanied by proof of purchase, within a reasonable period of time** of the original purchase date. This does not affect your statutory rights.
* Faulty: This does not include fair wear & tear or deliberate misuse. This is at Barton Gems discretion.
** Normally a reasonable period of time is 3 months, though this is at Barton Gems discretion.
Any goods returned undelivered, or any customers wishing to return goods for reasons other than the item being faulty or errors made by Barton Gems will be subject to a 20% handling and restocking charge which will be deducted from any refund. Any original postage and packaging charge cannot be refunded.
The customer will be liable for return postage costs. Barton Gems can arrange collection of items for a fee (Mainland UK only). No items for return can be accepted at the company offices without prior agreement.
Whilst every care is taken to ensure prices, descriptions, images and all other information is correct, Barton Gems reserves the right to amend/delete any information as required.
